After Luna Nozawa is pardoned, Steffy Forrester, who was earlier kidnapped and almost killed by her, is enraged. It was Steffy who had called Detective Baker and several other police officers to arrest Luna. Unfortunately, Baker learned from a mysterious caller that Luna had been pardoned. He then ordered one of his officers to uncuff her and remove her ankle monitor. He then told everyone of Luna’s pardon.
Steffy was not the only one frustrated, as Ridge Forrester and Taylor Hayes were also upset. The latter two concluded that Bill Spencer had orchestrated Luna’s pardon. Their belief is supported by how Bill had given Luna a shifty look, and she grinned in return, while a distressed Steffy tried to convince Baker not to let Luna go free. Thus, Bill will soon face a lot of backlash and criticism.
Meanwhile, Finn Finnegan, who had learned of his relationship with Luna but agreed with Steffy about sending her back to prison, was also left shocked.
Steffy threatens to prevent Luna from coming anywhere near Finn. However, the latter retorts that Finn can decide what he wants to do. Finn will be conflicted between his loyalty to Steffy and his newfound connection to Luna.
Moreover, tensions between Li and Poppy Nozawa escalate as the former grabs the latter by her throat in her office. Li threatens Poppy with death if she decides to torment their loved ones.
