Auction house Beaussant Lefèvre and Associates recently sold a collection of rare gold coins for $3.48 million, according to CNN. The sale comes after the coins were found behind a painting in the store room of a French home. The coins belonged to Paul Narce, who passed away last year. Narce was an avid coin collector. The Vancouver Art Gallery (VAG) will lay off approximately 30 unionized staff members, according to the Art Newspaper.
