ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Locked clip from the upcoming horror thriller starring Bill Skarsgård as a man trapped inside of a car trap placed by Anthony Hopkins. The film premieres in theaters today, March 21, 2025.
What happens in the Locked clip?
The new clip sees a stressed-out Eddie (Skarsgård) inside of a car being controlled by Hopkins’ mysterious character. The car is driving itself, weaving through traffic before pulling into a parking garage and nearly driving off of its roof.

The film follows the story of Eddie (Skarsgård), a man who breaks into a luxury SUV in the hopes of stealing it, only to find that the car is actually a designed trap set by William (Hopkins), a vigilante looking to teach Eddie a lesson. The film features Hopkins in mostly a voice role, but the trailer does show him appearing in person at some point in the movie.
“When Eddie (Bill Skarsgård) breaks into a luxury SUV, he steps into a deadly trap set by William (Anthony Hopkins), a self-proclaimed vigilante delivering his own brand of twisted justice. With no means of escape, Eddie must fight to survive in a ride where escape is an illusion, survival is a nightmare, and justice shifts into high gear,” reads the film’s official synopsis.
Locked is directed by David Yarovesky, from a script written by Michael Arlen Ross. The legendary Sam Raimi serves as a producer on the project,
