Nighthawk Interactive and Dlala Studios announced Disney Illusion Island is finally releasing for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Microsoft Store, and GOG. The best part is players won’t have to wait very long to get their hands on the 2D platformer.
When is the Disney Illusion Island PS5, Xbox, and PC release date?
Disney Illusion Island arrives on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in North America on May 30. Players in Europe will have to wait just a tad longer as it releases on June 27 in other territories. Players can preorder a physical edition of the game, which comes with an exclusive poster, on Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, and other major retailers right now for $29.99.
“From the creatives at Dlala Studios, Disney Illusion Island Starring Mickey & Friends takes players on exciting adventure as they run, jump, swim and swing their way through beautifully hand-drawn biomes in order to save the mysterious island of Monoth,” reads the game’s description. “Players can choose from Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy as they meet unlikely allies, defeat peculiar foes and uncover hidden secrets on a solo journey or with up to three friends.”
Disney Illusion Island’s jump to other platforms ushers in free new content for the game. Specifically, a new mode called Cave Adventuring Scavenger Hunt (C.A.S.H.) and the new ability Dig are being added to the game. Nintendo Switch players should not fret, as the new content will also be available on the portable hybrid platform.

Disney Illusion Island was originally launched as a Nintendo Switch exclusive back in 2023. When it was released, it was met with average reviews. According to review aggregate site Metacritic, it received an average score of 73 across 74 critic reviews.
For players who just cannot wait for Disney Illusion Island to go multiplatform, it is available on the Nintendo Switch now for $39.99.
