The bullet-proof decentralized perpetuals exchange EnclaveX has just announced the availability of its first real-world assets. Users can now trade tokenized assets such as the S&P 500 (SPY), Nasdaq 100 (QQQ) and gold (PAXG) on its platform, alongside hundreds of cryptocurrencies.
EnclaveX said the launch of its first RWAs provides a massive advantage for traders, as it makes these traditional assets available around the clock, 24/7, giving them the opportunity to react rapidly to real-world events that could have significant market impacts.
The RWAs were announced on X by EnclaveX Chief Executive David Wells, who said they can be traded with leverage “whenever you want”, so traders can put themselves in a better position for when the markets open.
Wells said the ability to trade at any time is critical for investors, because the existing markets that close after-hours and shut down completely at weekends create artificial delays between the moment news breaks and the market reaction. But with tokenization, EnclaveX and the broader crypto industry is able to fix this issue at last.
RWAs are tokenized versions of traditional assets such as stocks and shares, government bonds, treasury bills and commodities. In fact, just about anything with value can be tokenized, including assets such as real estate, luxury artworks and even bottles of fine wine. When something is tokenized, it’s represented on the blockchain as a digital token, which means it can be traded in a peer-to-peer way without intermediaries and time restrictions. This means investors have the ability to react 24 hours a day, any day of the week, and can trade with much lower costs as RWAs don’t require intermediaries.
“Traditional markets close but opportunities don’t,” Wells said. “When Asian markets open while Wall Street sleeps, when geopolitical events happen over the weekend, when gold spikes overnight – traders have been locked out of reacting in real-time.”
Created by a company known as Enclave Markets, the EnclaveX platform has emerged as one of the crypto industry’s fastest-growing futures exchanges, offering the advanced trading features found on better-known offerings such as dYdX and GMX, together with enhanced security features. What’s unique about its platform is that each trade occurs within a secure enclave, where they are obscured from prying eyes. That’s unlike the open orderbooks found on traditional DEX platforms. The use of secure enclaves eliminates a risk known as MEV or front-running attacks, which is where bots attempt to manipulate orderbooks, jumping the queue ahead of human traders to secure advantageous prices.
The company explains that its secure enclaves use the same cryptography techniques found on Apple’s iPhones, backed by a network of independent attestors that run separate nodes to authenticate the blockchain’s state. EnclaveX says this setup makes its perps DEX the most secure platform of its kind.

The launch of SPY, QQQ and PAXG assets on EnclaveX is just the beginning of its RWA journey. Earlier this month, at the Avalanche Summit London event, EnclaveX unveiled its RWA roadmap for the first time, saying that it intends to “bridge the gap” between crypto and traditional finance by launching a broad range of RWAs on its platform, including various stocks and shares and “TradFi assets”.
At the same event, EnclaveX debuted a new strategy recommendation engine called Enclave Intelligence, which aims to help regular retail traders take advantage of the kinds of sophisticated trading strategies that were previously only accessible to hedge funds. With it, traders can select markets of interest to them, such as crypto or commodities, and access curated information derived from hundreds of filtered signals, in real-time. For instance, if a breaking news event occurs, or interest rates are adjusted, traders can instantly adapt their trading strategies with the help of intelligent algorithms.
