HBO Max’s new TV and movie release schedule for May 12-18, 2025, includes Where the Crawdads Sing (2022), Mermicorno: Starfall Season 2, The Brutalist, Say Yes to the Dress Season 21, and others.
On May 12, Where the Crawdads Sing (2022) drops on HBO Max. The mystery thriller follows Catherine, who is abandoned by her family at a young age. As such, she decides to take care of herself, but things take a turn for the worse when she is framed for her ex-boyfriend’s death.
Further, Mermicorno: Starfall Season 2 will be available on the streaming platform. The animated series follows the lives of Mermicornos in a fantasy underwater world. They come together to protect their ocean from danger.
Also coming out on HBO Max is the historical drama The Brutalist. It follows a visionary architect who tries to rebuild his life in America following his escape from postwar Europe. Soon, his life changes when he meets a wealthy industrialist.
Additionally, Say Yes to the Dress Season 21 premieres on Max. The reality show resumes the journey of brides trying to find the ideal fit at numerous stores for their wedding day.
