It seems the upcoming week in General Hospital is going to be an intense one for Lulu and Rocco, as the latter will surprise Lulu with a confrontation that she will not see coming. But will Lulu tell Rocco about the offbeat way he came to be? Or is there another way of explaining to Rocco how Britt Westbourne is related to him?
Why does Rocco confront Lulu on General Hospital?
A week ago in General Hospital, Danny found Brook Lynn’s files and showed them to Rocco. Rocco comes across two birth certificates, one of which is for Britt Westbourne. Initially, Emma tried to explain to Rocco, but she later asked him to go to his parents and ask about this.
Rocco goes to Lulu and mentions the name of Britt Westbourne, catching his mother off guard. Lulu did not want Rocco to find out this way. She also hoped to tell him when he was older.
Lulu realizes pretty soon that she would ideally want Dante to help her break down the truth. But Rocco forces her to answer him right away. Lulu is ultimately forced to explain to Rocco the truth about his birth.
Is Lulu Rocco’s birth mother?
Yes, Lulu is Rocco’s mother, but the birth is more complicated than that. As Lulu explains to Rocco, she was his mother, but Britt somehow got hold of Lulu’s frozen embryo and implanted it in herself to fool Doctor Patrick Drake.
So Britt gave birth to the baby, whom she named Ben. Months later, Dante and Lulu found out about it and took custody of the baby, renaming him Rocco. Rocco will have to slowly process this information.
Although now Rocco knows the truth, it seems Lulu will not be too glad when she finds out how Rocco came across the files and found out about this.
