What happens in the Finally Dawn trailer?
The film follows the story of a young Roman woman (Rebecca Antonaci) in the 1950s, who thrust into the world of Italian cinema and soon finds herself wrapped up in parties with an American star (James) and more.
Finally Dawn is set to release on July 18, 2025.

The cast of Finally Dawn is a star-studded one, and includes Lily James, Willem Dafoe, Rachel Sennott, Joe Keery, Alba Rohrwacher, Michele Bravi, and Rebecca Antonaci. The film is written and directed by Saverio Costanzo. “The film follows a young Roman woman during the 1950s on the verge of becoming engaged to a man. She goes to Cinecittà to do an audition as an extra and is thrust into this almost infinite night during which she discovers herself,” reads the official synopsis of the film.
Finally Dawn is produced by Mario Gianani and Lorenzo Gangarossa. The film premiered at the 80th Venice International Film Festival in 2023, and released in Italy last year.
