It was so fun meeting the designer behind In the Light of Day Jewelry at NY NOW, in NYC. I was quite impressed by all her pieces and really intrigued by all her incredible earring designs. They were dangly, stackable, convertible and bright, with pops of color looming in the most unexpected places. I immediately wanted to stack them on my ears and get more piercings. I love all the chain components that were a part of the designs and could picture how perfect they’d be in the summer with my hair pulled back and a cocktail in hand! Every piece is made with ethically sourced gemstones and recycled gold! Let’s get to know Margaret a little more:

Where from/where are you based: I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC and currently resident just outside of the city limits.
How long have you been in the jewelry industry:
I have been in the industry for over 15 years, starting out in an art jewelry program in college, working for a big box jewelry store and finally working for myself.
Zodiac sign: Scorpio and proud of it! ❤️
Favorite gemstone: has to be sapphire for is diversity of color, durability and unique characteristics
Favorite piece in your collection: the Sunny Day Sapphire Ring because it reminds me of Carolina Blue skies
