Though Chase didn’t have the full picture, he suspected Turner’s decision stemmed from a potential conflict of interest. It could be that the case involved Dante’s father.
Dante refuses to sit back and accept the decision without pushing back. He walks straight into Anna Devane’s office to get clarity. He’s frustrated and confused, unsure why Chase is being so secretive.
Anna confirms that she now knows the details but can’t interfere. However, that brings out Dante’s deep-seated anger towards Chase, questioning how truthful he can be. Soon after, he apologizes for making a personal remark.
