This was due to a recent interview with Ablack, where he shared his opinions on Joe and Georgia’s relationship. Ginny & Georgia’s Raymond Ablack thinks Joe and Georgia are ‘endgame’
In a recent interview with US Weekly, Raymond Ablack explained why he believed Georgia and Joe could form a long-term relationship.
Ablack said, “If it were me leading my own life, I would hope to be endgame with someone that I trusted that deeply. I would hope to be endgame with my best friend.” He referenced Georgia admitting to Joe her various crimes over the years in Ginny & Georgia Season 3, noting how the former would only tell “these kinds of secrets [about herself]” to “her best friend” — which Ablack believed “was Joe this year.”
Ablack shared that Georgia and Joe being together “makes sense” based on the narrative.
The Degrassi: The Next Generation actor shared how the show subtly hinted at Georgia and Joe being an optimal match.
“There is [this] allusion [on the show] to Joe being more cunning and having an ounce of the character that Georgia has,” Ablack said. The actor noted that Joe was capable of being “devious, cunning, and mischievous,” like Georgia, despite being sweet on the surface.
“It’s just different than say Paul or Zion. His is more covert,” Ablack added. He then expressed interest in exploring Joe’s devious side, opining how the character had the “ability and capacity” for it.
Ablack also addressed the shocking Season 3 cliffhanger, which revealed Georgia was pregnant, but didn’t address who her unborn baby’s father was. He shared his belief that Joe was the father.
